Exultate Singers, Director David Ogden: ‘From darkness to light’.
27 November, 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Many will remember Exultate Singers’ outstanding concert for Churchill Music in 2012 after which we promised to invite them again. Under David Ogden’s baton, this Bristol-based choir is known for its engaging, entertaining and consistently high-quality performances, making use of performance venues’ spatial effects with singers placed in different positions around the church throughout the concerts. For some works, the singers encircle the audience, enveloping us with stunning live surround sound – a spellbinding experience.
This concert will be a much-needed tonic – a journey through time, starting with some of the most glorious sacred choral music and sending us away on the crest of a wave of joyful music – perfect for getting into the swing of the festive activities that will surely follow. This is a concert that simply cannot be missed.
